01:47 pm Dead Reign, TA Pratt I would buy the series about Marla in hardcover. I think that describes my feelings well. I love how Marla actually is badass, shown to be powerful and ruthless and competent and I'm not just told that she is. Death moves in and takes over her city. So Marla invades his domains. That is pure awesomeness.
Grimspace, Ann Aguirre Overall enjoyable even if all characters were so damn secretive and confrontational. Seems like a lot of trouble could have been avoided if they talked to each other.
Darth Bane: Rule of Two It might be a bit trashy, but I love reading about the sith. I like a book where good doesn't win in the end and there is no redemption. It's almost like reading a Knight of the Old Republic game. That might be both bad and good.
Pet Shop of Horrors: Tokyo 2, Matsuri Akino Count D is so creepy and kind of evil ;) PSoH always has such strange morals but it's always interesting and pretty to look at.
Nation, Terry Pratchett I wasn't sold on this book, even if it was good. I really enjoyed the beginning and the communication problems between the two children stuck on the island together. Not even drawing pictures is uncomplicated...
Amber and Blood (The Dark Disciple 3), Margaret Weis This series is so filled with crack. The gods act like brats. The god and evil gods hang out together. The kender is sane. I'm having so much fun reading this. I also appreciate how this series comes with an appendix on newly introduced concepts so you could use them in your d&d game if you like.
A woman worth ten coppers, Morgan Howell This felt like a small part of the story so I think it's hard to decide how good I think it is. A good beginning. I can’t wait to see where this is going.
